Terms of Service

Last updated: September 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bolt desktop application, the Bolt web console at app.trybolt.ai, our website at trybolt.ai, and related services (together, the “Services”) provided by Bolt (“Bolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and represent that you have authority to do so.

1. The Services

Bolt provides an AI workstation and gateway that lets you and your team run AI agents to perform knowledge work, connect approved tools and accounts, and govern models, keys, and connectors. Features may change over time as we improve the Services.

2. Accounts and eligibility

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

4. Connected accounts and third-party services

The Services let you connect third-party accounts and tools (for example, Google and other connectors) and select model providers. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect an account and for the actions you direct an agent to take with it. We access third-party data only within the scopes you authorize, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Services (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and secure the Services. We do not use Your Content to train generalized AI models. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the necessary rights to use it with the Services.

6. AI output

The Services use AI models that can produce inaccurate or incomplete output. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, and for any actions taken based on it. The Services are not a substitute for professional advice. Given the nature of machine learning, output may not be unique and similar output may be generated for others.

7. Plans, fees, and trials

Some features are offered under paid plans. Applicable fees, billing cycles, and plan terms will be presented at purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and exclude taxes. We may change pricing prospectively with notice as required by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, design, and content we provide (excluding Your Content), are owned by Bolt or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOLT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bolt harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bolt is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
